Not only is Griffith a museum of fascinating exhibits, but we have the most looked through telescope of any in the world right on the roof, we have a planetarium theater that utilizes the most state-of-the-art technology with planetarium shows specifically designed just for Griffith Observatory presented by a live person (not a pre-recorded voice)and we have developed and present a wonderful 5th grade School Field Trip program choreographed and organized around the California curriculum standards.

And get a discount on the tickets! And receive a confirmation letter that provides you with guaranteed parking at the Observatory! And, after picking up and paying for your tickets in your own special line (at the Center of Gravity desk), you can just stroll over to the South Gallery adjacent to the Samuel Oschin Planetarium theater and wait in complete comfort indoors until show time, when your Speed of Light access as a FOTO member means that you will be invited to enter the theater first.
