MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR VISIT TO GRIFFITH OBSERVATORY BY PLANNING AHEAD WITH HELP FROM FRIENDS OF THE OBSERVATORY

Griffith Observatory is unique in all of California – and possibly the world.  Not only is Griffith a museum of fascinating exhibits, but we have the most looked through telescope of any in the world right on the roof, we have a planetarium theater that utilizes the most state-of-the-art technology with planetarium shows specifically designed just for Griffith Observatory presented by a live person (not a pre-recorded voice)and we have developed and present a wonderful 5th grade School Field Trip program choreographed and organized around the California curriculum standards.

Your visit to Griffith Observatory will enhance your knowledge about space and how we have explored the cosmos and utilized the information we have attained. But there is much more at Griffith Observatory to delight you and encourage you to come back. Just take a look….
